Simply remove the factory muffler and install two straight pipes in place, aproximately a$35.00 to $45.00 cost. The resinators at the rear still muffle the noise enough to enjoy the radio but produce a great sound. At least 7 other people I know have done this and all love it. ------------------ |

I think the best sounding cat is with the Carlini Borla system. THE ONLY SYSTEM THAT MAKES THE CAT SOUND LIKE A V8. I AM PROWLERMAN I CAN NEVER BE WRONG. ------------------ This message has been edited by Gary C on 12-14-2000 at 11:42 AM |

Real Rod is the best, Because you can turn it off and on. sometimes you want to be heard & then when you want to hear your music or make a cell call. The dual2 is very Loud!!!!! people ask me about it all the time. |

I'm running the straights the same diameter as the stock pipes were, only joined at the center for a Y-Pipe effect. This sound good to me, just a bit on the loud side-sounds great when you stomp it though! ------------------ |

If you go to my website, LordoftheLooks.com, and the sound bites I made of my stock exhaust and with my Smithy glass pacs might help. Be sure you turn down the bass on your speakers. Much clearer sound difference. Something to judge by... ------------------ |
