Have had 5 Kats, but only 3 owners manuals and 4 CD's...think some of the stuff gets ripped off at the dealers, especially if they sit on the showroom floor very long... Y2K YELO X 4 ------------------ |

you got a cat without a CD player from the DEALER??!! Amazing! My cat did not come with any booklets either, and I keep getting put on hold forever with DC, so, I just bought one off ebay for $10. ------------------ |

Todd, all Kats had CD players...one was just missing the free CD that comes in the car, the Prowler CD...has music etc....a friend of mine bought a Kat that someone had taken the magazine out of the CD player... Y2K YELO X 4 ------------------ |

There is a CD that comes in the little net storage pouch that hangs down in front of the shifter...the CD is always on the passenger side on the pouch....has a purple Prowler on the case....honestly have never played one, not really sure what is on it....friend told me it was cruising music...the cars all are supposed to have them, but they do get stolen at the dealers sometimes, especially if the car is left top down in the showroom... You did not miss much by not getting the CD. It had a couple good songs but that is it, at least that's my opinion. ------------------ |

Just as with the color of the Prowler ... taste in music is as varie and opinion rich. I happen to like the Prowler "experience" CD that came with my '99 very much. Sure there are some songs that don't appeal, BUT ... it is a great "demo" tape with tracks that are both GREAT for crusin and for showing off the great factory sound system My 2 cents ... and I got a spare CD with my Kat ... deler pulled one off the other car in the show room and said; "one for listening, and one to save ... enjoy". So I have! ------------------ |
