I took my wifes car in for some factory recalls and was able to spend some time lounging in the showroom waiting to be picked up.

They had a Patriot Blue mini van in there and a Deep Sapphire pearl Stratus.

FROM WHAT I HAVE READ THEY ARE GOING TO PAINT THE 1ST CHRYSLER PROWLER THIS SAPPHIRE BLUE. they might as well run another lot of Black. This color has NO appeal as a blue. At least the Black is a classic and looks good.

My 1st car was ice blue, I had it painted a dark metallic blue before I ever got my lisence My 1st new car (`77 Dodge Aspen) I ordered in Metallic DARK BLUE so YES I Like Dark BLUE.

Just who is picking the colors of these beautifully styled cars? They got the design down to a wonderful car with alot of appeal but have FAILED in the color catagory.

The blue on the concept Panel cruiser is wonderful. But we cannot have that on a prowler.

The Orange on the Charger R/T is wonderful and we get Sparkler Prowler Orange/copper brown. Give us a break and give us some colors that Match the car.

can the Sapphire. send it to dodge for the stratus, GIVE US PATRIOT BLUE

Not to knock any other current Prowler color and yes I own what started out as a Yellow Prowler and IN MY OPINION THE YELLOW IS THE MOST APPEALING COLOR SO FAR.

I was told the Prowlers were to be painted a SPECIAL color to match the car. WHAT HAPPENED

I'm done and feel better.

Thank you CJ for asking what we would like to see on a future Prowler.
DC please listen to the people that own the Cars right now and what they would like to see in the future.

Thank you
Larry Mayes

well, what can I say, everyone has different taste. I'm still trying to finance that BEAUTIFUL orange color on my next Prowler (already have a black), but if they painted it that horrible Orange you mentioned, I'd have to either not buy or re-paint

Wildcat - I'm with you on this one, as I stated in another post elsewhere. The Sapphire Blue has no appeal, and I like blues!

Do they blindfold someone, and pin the tail on the color charts? Who are these masked people?

Todd,

I like the Sparkle Orange, but it is not what I expected. It looks great in the bright sunlightMight need one myself someday. But if it was the color of the R/T I would need it NOW

I had a Hemi Orange `72 Challenger for 17 years. One of THE best colors ever to come out.

I also had a `72 Hugger Orange & white 3/4 ton 4X4 Chevy Cheyenne. I loved the color on that truck. almost the same as the Hemi Orange

OH GARY AM I IN THE WRONG PLACE

The Sparkle orange does leave something to be desired in the dull gray skies or in artifical light. But since you live in SUNNY California you have nothing to worry about.

I guess it's all a mater of taste. Since purple would be my first choice and is longer an option in production, I have been hoping for a dark blue.

Although Wildcat, I am not certain that the blue you saw on the Stratus is the same they will be using. When I spoke to my dealer a few weeks ago and asked him to put me on the list for the first blue he gets, I was specifically told that the blue for the Prowler was not the same sapphire blue Chrysler has in production now on other vehicles.

I don't know if that is true or not. (*Hey CJ, do you know if it is a different blue than what Wildcat mentioned?)

The funny thing is, when I bought my black cat, my girl and I were wondering if we could special order that EXACT Orange they came out with in 2001! Amuses me...
