Just looked out on the back porch and the themother reads 23F. Weaterman says wind chill is 9F. I put my cat up two weeks ago. Good thing cause we've got 6" of snow and 4" more comming tonight in Beautiful Muskegon, MI.
What's the weather like where live????

Larry,
After two weeks of snow and cold it's finally warming up into the 60's this week and you can bet I'll be puttin' some miles on the car this week. Maybe even a trip to the mountains if the roads clear up, which is likely since they are already on their way. WOOOOOOOEEEEEEEE

Larry and Al - At 4:00pm today, I got tired of watching Gore / Bush stuff, so I went out for a one hour cruise in the cat. Phoenix temp was 71 degrees, but the windchill factor was 64 degrees - like to froze to death out there! I may have to put the top up -----NOT!

Threw away my snow shovel twenty-five years ago, and found the warm sun in the southwest.

PhxSuncut, better hang on to your next shovel. If we all moved to your part of the world, you may need it to dig for drinking water someday.
Tonight, it's 17 and nearly below 0 with wind chill. Had to help my son's buddy jump a nearly dead Jeep Cheokee. Welcome to the winter wonderland!

14 degrees and clear here this morning. The wood stove is doing its job, nice and cozy warm in the house. The Prowler is 'shivering' in the garage.

Just got into work. It's 9:25am, snow is 14" deep, roads are not plowed.
I blasted outa my driveway with snow flying over my hood of my LHS. Made it to the street and got in the tracks that a four wheeler must of made. I'd say only 3 or 4 people in our neighborhood went to work today. God I love Michigan!
Forcast 4" to 6" more today!

Y2KRed in LA - Life is good, isn't it! 345 days per year of cat cruising - they are eating their hearts out.

CJ - From my house to Payson, Az. - 87 miles in one hour, 14 minutes - all the snow and cold temps I ever want to see again. Get my fill, then head back home to the sun. What a great place to live - we just need a good pro football team!

BTW - The Snow Bowl Ski Resort in Flagstaff is now OPEN, bring your skis.

Paul in Wisconsin - water problems? Water runs downhill - 144 inches of snow in northern Arizona fills our lakes in the spring. Boats in the desert, you bet!

It's snowing!!!!!!!

It's so beautiful. I miss driving my cat in the winter, but I'm getting a new jeep and am looking forward to driving that. I look at it like less miles on my cat, also. I spent a Christmas with my son and daughter-in-law when they were stationed in SC......you can have it........didn't even seem like Christmas with 70 degrees, Christmas lights on Palmetto trees and no snow.....

Naaaaaaaah......I'll keep the snow!!

Larry..same temp, same wind chill, but no snow to speak of here. I'm with CJ, love snow for the holidays (xmas and new years) NOT Thanksgiving. 2 snowfalls I do like are the 1st and last...and if they happen on the same day thats fine with me. Anywhere else in the world that gets "lake effect snow?"

Speaking of lake effect snow. As per usual, Buffalo gets dumped with snow (24 inches) while still no snow in Toronto.

I have to say snow is great for Christmas and New Years and maybe for an additional month or so, but that is enough. Hope to get a few more weeks of cruising in this year and then pull the cat out in March.

It is 20 degrees here with 6-8 inches of snow predicted tonight. Okay, that's enough snow now. It can warm up and get nice again...NOT!

Prowlin' is nice this time of the year and it looks a like a great weekend for our annual Turkey Rod Run in Daytona. They are expecting over 5,000 entries... street rods, customs, muscle cars and Prowlers!!! Jay

What, are we supposed to have sympathy for you Gary?

You know, there are people who actually like snow.....skiing, sledding, ice skating, tubing, snowmobiles, campfires in the snow, hot chocolate, snowball fights, ice fishing, beautiful snowflakes, snow angels, snowshoeing, quiet walks in the woods with snow on the trees.......
