`61 or`62 Corvette as long as it is a stick car this is what I have wanted since about 1972 (I was 14). I could have this now if I want to sell the Cat. Guess the Vette will wait alittle longer. ------------------ |

Wow. Lot of Vette fans. You guys aren't giving any credit to my SLK . The retractable top is too cool! If you go to the link, be sure to note my neighbor's '65 Plymouth Satellite convertible in the background. He says he drives an old Dodge and I drive a new one... Since there are so many Vette fans here, I 'll run over to the classified ad section and post the link for my buddy's '65 Vette that he's selling. She's a beauty. I'd wish for a Viper, but probably own a 2000 Corvette - bright blue metallic coupe. |

I would stick with my original interest of collecting antique American motorcycles. However... if they actually make that cool Buick prototype convertible... |

I might choose what I saw today. It was like supercar overload. Actually took the luster out of of driving my car! My friend picked me up with his UNIQUE CO. Cobra replica-428 powered-not bad, but not too fast-surprising! We went to HRE Cobra and checked out a number of cars, A Cobra kit with 427 Ernie Elliot motor-648 HP-Awesome!!!. Also in ther shop was a Bill Elliots Nascar car-some constuctive trading I was told! Then a 1000 HP cobra set up for drag racing-twin turbo! The guy gave the owner access to a 150k account set up for him to draw from during the building process. Then I saw one of the most unique things I've ever seen -A car called a Noble. Only 36 made-ford powered-I cant even begin to describe this one-has to be one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. As i stumbled out of this place on overload, we went around the corner to Superperformance-another Cobra dealer and I was treated to MORE Cobra kits, 2 GT40's, another Noble-for sale-150k,-Ferrari's ,can-am cars-, every damn thing!!!!! It was a wonderful thing!! ------------------ This message has been edited by butchcee on 11-18-2000 at 02:25 PM |

The Good Guys Auto Show is in Scottsdale this weekend, which brought about a super huge turnout to the Pavillions auto show last nite - a packed, overcrowded, full-house, standing room only! At the show was a new Shelby car, #89 of 500 to be made, with Aurora engine. I can say this of my opinion = CRAP! Take it off anyone's wish list. ------------------ |
