Where can I get one like the one behind the trailer? Have two-year grand son, not ready for go-kart yet. He may go directly to sprint cars at 8 or 9! Likes to slid in dirt at full throttle. What a kid! My blood runs deep. Ooppps-doesn't need my blood clots. ------------------ |

Larry, I have seen them advertised at stores like Service Merchandise and K's Merchandise. I think they were around $49. I'll look locally if anyone is interested. |

The Go-Kart looks justlike that pictured, but mine is obviously PPG Prowler yellow and not two toned. There are inserts for the wheels that look like factory rims too by the way. I just got one of the smaller battery powered cars for my 8 month old daughter (yes, I am a sick puppy - also got a Barbie battery powered Vette and Lamborghini too) and IT is yellow as well. Lights work and has buttons that make radio, horn and engine sounds. Got mine from Ebay ... CJ said she had seen them at Meijers in Michigan for around $79 or so. Little, big or BIGGER ... these Prowlers are sooo much fun for the whole family! |

Yes, Mine is identical. I also have a peddle car, that is larger than the battery car. Sold at Wal-Mart last year. Midwest Industries from Indiana had 2 Yellow Pedal Cars left last time I talked to them ,for about $325.00 Gary |

for the battery powered car. I bought a purple one a few years ago about this time of year at Penney's and then found yellow one at Walmart. So I bought yellow and sold purple to Jim Anderson. I have seen in the past Red car at Meijers. They are rated for child up to 50lbs. My yellow is now painted to match my car. I take to shows and have large Tweety to place in it. ------------------ This message has been edited by WildCat on 11-10-2000 at 03:49 PM |

NightProwler. The Woodward Gocart & battery car in Gary C's pic above were originally purple. The owner had local dealer body shop paint the Woodward colors. |

Wayne and John S - Thanks guys, I'll start checking the stores for one. Grandson's birthday was last week (2) and would have bought one then if I'd had seen one before. Will get him one for X-Mas if available in stores or on EBay. Thanks again, |

As everyone can see from the post that CJ placed on this thread, the two carts that are being offered by club members here are being done so at a VERY fair price. Mine as been repainted the "correct" PPG Prowler yellow, with special attention being given to the grill (no cheap decal, hand taped) and the windshield/dash area (again, better than original decal). It is FULLY optioned with electric start, the 5hp gas engine with the torque converter clutch and the actual car horn. My cost basis is up around $3,000 with repaint and original purchase, but need to part with this WAY COOL toy and will do so for $2,000.00 plus shipping (which, by the way, to the west coast from Chicago is only $375 to a residence -- business drop with a dock would be cheaper). Thanks to all that have helped define what it is the two of us have to offer in these soon-to-be-collectible Prowler go-carts. Prowl On Big and small ... |
