I just finished typing Thank You's, a recap of the event, my personal highlights and everything else that I could think of in a post. I have been working on this for the last 3 hours and just finished typing that I've had a very hard and long day at the shop. I'm exhausted and need some sleep and please forgive me for forgetting anyone that was not mentioned. I then for some reason unknown to myself,,,,pushed the refresh button,,,,instead of the, submit new topic button,,,,all of my work has now been lost and I just don't have anything left to give tonight. I'm tired, beat exhausted and really pissed at myself right now. I can't believe that I just did what I did. Brain Fart I guess! |

Larry, You are far too gracious a gentleman for your own good. Catch up on your business work and get some rest. You can mull over all the fun and great touring we had--later. We'll be here. |

Larry...the fact that you could find any key let alone the right key is amazing. I just walked in after 31 hours in the truck minus 1 hour doing breakfast with the Texas Rangers,(Paul, Jodie, David, Shaun, Pauly and Peggy & kids, all I hope and feel I can call great new friends) and 2 2 hour rest stop naps, my left eye is looking at the tab key and right eye fixed on the enter key...and neither is in focus...I would hop back in the truck and head that way right now....or in the morning. You, Roger, Gary C., Larry Salzman and all the others put together a MOST SPECTACULAR EVENT that went way to fast. It was a trip of a lifetime and well worth the wait. If I poured out all the thoughts swimming in my head, it would resemble the splattered armidillo I say on I 40. I promise much more very soon but only have energy to read. Julie..thanks for letting me borrow a little good luck. I will have it as long as you wear the hat....'nother hug for you! |

I haven't forgotten about posting and saying thanks to all who attended the Route 66 / Grand Canyon Tour 2000. Please forgive me for being so tardy with my post. I have been extremely busy at work since returning from the trip. I'll post again later this weekend about my thoughts concerning the Grand Canyon Tour. I had a blast at the Grand Canyon event and have already started planning another that I believe will be even larger than this one. Maybe in early May or June. I'll give you a hint,,,it's 60 miles from the geographical center of the United States. ------------------ |

My Rand McNally says Rapid City is about 60 miles from the geographical center of the United States. Miles from Rapid City to: Seems like we should be able to find something to keep us busy. Maybe early May or June. Mothers Day is May 13 and Memorial Day is May 28. My idea is to have the event run from a Monday night hospitality suite thru Thursday night. Sounds stupid but in this way most will only need to miss 5 days work. Almost all will have about 2.5 days drive to get there and another 2.5 to get home. Your opinions please! ------------------ |
