Here we go. David N & I will be leaving the Dallas area about noon on Tues. Oct.31st for the Grand Canyon. Is there anyone out there that will be coming south to catch I-40 West around Amarillo, Tx that would like to join up and Cat-a-Van into Flagstaff. We should be in Amarillo by 6:00pm and may drive to Tucumcari,NM that evening, time and weather permitting. We will probably make it into Flagstaff the next (Wed.) evening. Spend the night there and leave our trucks & trailers there in Flagstaff and drive our Kats to Laughlin that afternoon. Please join in... The more the merrier. PaulR |

Hooking up sounds good although I haven't really laid out an itinerary from Michigan. If it looks like that time frame will work I'll let you know. |

Paul and David, We are leaving Cincinnati on Saturday and plan to make it to Memphis, on Sunday stay in Okla. City and Monday night in Albuquerque. If we have rain along the way we will be later than that. If you will email me your phone number, I will call you sometime Monday and let you know our whereabouts and if we can hook up. I don't want to delay you and I don't want to lose a day if the weather is good. Thanks. Ed |

Paulr, You say that you are thinking of leaving Flagstaff Thursday (2 Nov) afternoon? If so, any idea about what time you might depart Flagstaff? I am thinking about taking I40 to Laughlin from Colorado. I will be departing Thuraday Morning. Haven't deceided what time to leave yet. If I leave at 7:00am on Thursday, I would expect to pass through Flagstaff around 6:00pm. That might be a little late for you guys but I thought I would ask anyway. ------------------ |

Hi Andrew- We will be trying to be in Laughlin around 3:00-4:00pm so that would have us leaving Flagstaff around 11-12am. How about meeting us in along I40 before Flagstaff? PaulR [This message has been edited by paulr (edited 10-23-2000).] |

Paulr, That might be possible, but I am planning on leaving Thursday Morning and if I leave at 7:00am it appears that I might be about 5-6 hours behind you. I don't know if I can make up that difference in time. I might be able to leave earlier. But I just don't know yet. I am still waiting to see if Marc from Denver is going to go. I quess we will just have to see if our routes and times ever line up. If I drive like Nyle, I might be able to wing it and make up the difference. ------------------ |

Hi John- I was gonna get a room at the Little America for Wed. night and leave the trailers & trucks there and then drive the Kats to Laughlin. This way each night thereafter our rigs are with us. After we go down to Sedona on Sun. we will come back to Flagstaff, load up & head 'em out! PaulR |

That sounds great John. I look forward to seeing that wild Kat of yours. Looks like the weather could end up being nice, but cold nights. However, Flagstaff can change quickly. |

Paul, I plan to leave Michigan Sunday AM headed for St. Louis, on to Oklahoma City by Monday night, and find you at Amarillo Tuesday afternoon/evening. Likewise I will reserve Wednesday Nite at Little America. I should have enough to continue on from Amarillo to wherever. |

OK, Let's do it! Mike- I don't know the exit #, but you probably won't need it. They have massive billboards on I40 from all directions. I will confirm it and post it for all those hoping to surprise us. Here are our cell #'s.
