Hi Everyone: New cat owner here. Sold my 98 vette in June and recently,(two weeks ago)decided to go with a Prowler. I have always loved the car ever since I saw the concept car at Cobo in 1993, but didn't want to pay the inflated sticker price. Shopped on AutoTrader.com and found a new (460 miles, still on MSO)yellow 2000 at a Chicago area dealer. $43025.00, $700.00 under sticker. I was very happy with the price. Picked it up Friday and drove it the 200 miles home. What a kick to drive. I love it. And I thought a got a few looks with the vette. Ha, seems like just about everyone looks !!! Drove it 150 miles yesterday after a wash and first coat of Zaino on Friday evening. Been reading posts on this site for the past two weeks and after yesterday's ride I decided to make two changes immediately. Raybestos front ceramic pads and front fender extensions. This car really trips my trigger !!! One of the few cars I've owned that is just about as gratifing to look at as it is to drive. It was warm here yesterday so down came the top. Easy to work, clean look when down. First conv. I've owned since my 65 Corsa !! Another coat of Zaino this morning. Nuff said for now. **** |

RBR - Welcome to the POA website! Nice to have you onboard. Two things: 1 - Gary C's check will bounce! 2 - CJ's team rules! OK, you are clued in now. Don't let Nyle drive your cat, unless you are ready to reboot the rear tires. Don't be shy, bring on any questions you might have or any info that might help the rest of us. Look forward to seeing you at 2001 Woodward event. ------------------ |

Nyle: Yesterday was a beautiful day for a ride but I stayed off the road. I need to get the pads and fender extensions on before I do much more driving. You're right a lot of crap thrown onto the sides of the car and a ton of brake pad dust for only going 150 miles on Saturday. Great minds must think alike because I too like to cruise over to Holt Auto Sales every now and again to check out their inventory. Later, **** |
