Anyone had problems with their chrome hubcaps
breaking? Would this be covered under warranty? These are the cheapest made caps
I have ever seen, the plastic tabs are the ones that keep breaking off. At 50.00 a pop,
you'd think DC would make a better product!

MLP- I have heard of a few having problems, but the dealership was going to warrant them. Try your dealer and see what they say. With the problems they have had on pitting/peeling chrome wheels... they should take care of them. Good Luck!

They should cover them under warranty, I just had all 4 of mine covered under warranty just a month ago.

I had one break last week when putting in my brake pads. I glued the plastic piece back on with CA (cyanoacrylate-crazy glue-good hobby shop stuff) And then ran a bead of silicone glue from the top, around the wire, to the bottom of the tab to reinforce it. So far it hasn't fallen off.
