In response to the post questioning the number of States people have visited, I can say that I've been to about 35 States. I'd like to know how many Americans have visited how many Canadian provinces! A mid-summer cruise from Banff to Jasper, Alberta would be spectacular. |

I have been to the Falls and to Toronto 15 times. I never drove there, but rode in a Car and a train. Went to Vancover(sp)and loved it. |

Most of us can't even spell Canada or name the provinces, you will have to supply clues. Seriously, I have been in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Atl. Provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. All of it is beautiful country. I certainly agree with you about Banff to Jasper. It would be hard to beat that scenery, anywhere in the world. Oh, I forgot to say eh, after each sentence, sorry. lol

Sorry, I did not realize the clues were necessary - maybe we should do a "who wants to be a millionaire" quiz on the Canadian provinces. Unfortunately the prize would have to be in Canadian dollars! Starting in the West, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island. |

Is that your FINAL answer???? What about the Yukon and NW Territories? |

Yukon and Northwest Territories are territories not provinces. There is also the territory of Nunavet which encompasses a huge area of the North. Not a great Prowler territory other than perhaps the one day a year when they have zero darkess......cruisin at 1am in total light! Where are all the other visitors to Canada? Perhaps next year we should move Woodward to Canada (this should get some posts!) - This year the auto industry will build more cars in Ontario than anywhere else in North America, including Michigan - time to rename the Motor City

Thanks for the info Wayne. I did not know there was a difference between the provinces and the territories. Are the Atlantic Provinces all separate provinces or are they considered one Province? I realize they are not physically attached but are the four of them equal to B.C. or is one equal to B.C. I guess I should have paid more attention in school 45 or 50 years ago or just retained more over the years. I can see coming to Canada. The trade rate is very good (from our standpoint). We stayed at a great B&B for $40 a couple two years ago. Hard to beat that price. We rode the jet boat for $20 Canadian, $13 US in St. John, New Brunswick and that was the most fun I ever had for $13. That was in the reversing falls in the Bay of Fundy for the rest of us Americans. The tide changes about 50 feet, which is bizarre to see the boat docks at low tide, 50 feet out of the water. Thanks again Wayne for the info. |
