I am looking to have the front A arms chromed on the suspension. I like the chrome covers I have seen, but would prefer to have the A arms chromed instead. Has anybody had this done/seen this done, or have ideas of where to have it done? Thanks in advance. |

What year is your car? The Late 99's and 2000's have upgraded arms. We(Gary E and I) have been trying to do the upgraded arms. Believe me when they are done I will update you all on this adventure. Now if you have an 97-99early Prowler, no Problem, you can have it done. Hope I helped. ------------------ |

William I noticed you have a 2000. I wish I had a Early 99 the chrome front end would have been done a couple of months ago. [This message has been edited by Gary C (edited 09-26-2000).] |

Those are great. How much, how long to do? If it looks that good on red, just think of how good it will look on a dark car... PURPLE! |

I recall seeing a sample of the chrome a arm covers at Woodward. At that time I heard tha t the chroming process was still in the development stage. Has this now become availble? Who is the company offering it? Does it need to be used with a specific turn signal kit or can others be used? Thanks in advance for the info everybody. ------------------ |

Gary, my 99 was built on July 29,1999. How would I know if chrome would work on my suspension and spindles? This is something I really want. Maybe not at $5,000. But if normal chroming process might work then I would look for somebody locally to do it. Thank you. ------------------ |

Bob H, The sample of the chrome cover that you saw at Woodward was a Carlini. The Carlini chrome A-arm covers may not look right with some of the earlier styles of bumper removal kits. The cover goes almost all of the way to the bushing but it will look much better if the ends are covered by Carlini turn signal kit is used. I think that they will also work well with the TGF covers or the Real Rod Aero style but I have not seen them used yet. I think that the price is a little higher than the $700.00 price that Gary quoted and that the chrome on the plastic is still a problem. I may be wrong on this and would suggest that you just call Gary Empfield directly for the best and most up to date answers on these products. Gary's number is 949-380-8587.
