We had a 1969 Chevrolet Impala SS with a 454hp 360 in. motor (that Bob built). We drove through Kansas at 140 mph without getting caught! Have gotten a Prowler up to 100 mph on a state road up at our lake cottage (had to quit at 100 because the neighbor with me was getting nervous!) Carroll Shelby gave me a ride on the Indianapolis Speedway track in a Viper at 140 mph! (That was cool!) |

quote: Had a Triumph T595 (not sure where the 595 came from as it was over 900cc). Anyway, it rev'd to 11.5K and did 0-100 in something ungodly like 3 seconds. I nailed it once, only got up to ~60 in 2nd and had to back off. Incredibly fast, incredibly scarey getting there that fast. |

i have been at the 180km/hr a few times, still haven't been going fast enough to kick in the governor yet....... soon a speeding ticket here cost $250.00 and if you are going more than 150km they charge you with dangerous driving...and the fine doubles.... and you loose your license. |
