Today I was asked if I had the stock 4 cylinder in my prowler. He then stated my car really sounded good. (I have straight pipes.) Also today another idiot told me he didn't realize they were only two seaters. I don't know if he thought it was a PT Cruiser or was otherwise totally oblivious. He didn't LOOK like an idiot. Last year a young guy saw where the battery is located and said "Wow, if you are in a wreck your battery is history" and I told him that was the only thing on the car I could replace for $45. Another young kid said he couldn't believe I had black valve stem covers. I bought chrome covers the same day. I hadn't even noticed them, myself. What is the dumbest question or comment you have gotten?

One guy asked me what I paid for cat--I said they go from mid-40's. Right away he said he could get for $35,000 anytime! Really? Yeah! Let's go use the pay phone, as I want to order four of them! He just looked at me. So I said: "I never made $40,000 for an hours work before--Let's go call the dealer!" He soon disappeared in the crowd-no wonder.

Was sitting in traffic and a guy pulls up next to me and asks what year the prowler was. So I told him it was a 2000 and he says no really what year is the car so I told him again it was a 2000. then he just looked at me like I didn't know what I was talking about. Guess he though it was an old street raod or something.

Another one, "What's the price tag on that?" I replied, "There isn't one, I took it off when I bought it." A certain segment of society asks the price question a lot.
