Mike Krehel has set the date for the rental of RiverCity Reacway Park. It will be this Friday from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 PM for Prowlers only to run between the timing lites as many times as you want. Mike said he will be supplying refreshments (drinks) for all but the concession stand will not be open so bring plenty of snacks for your group. If anyone has a spare helmet, you might bring that also just in case one is required. He'll have a couple of extras so we can swap with it also. My stepson will be with me and taking video of each car making a run and I'll then be transferring that to .MPEG files for anyone who would like to have a video of their Prowler off the starting line. DIRECTIONS: (from Houston area) Take I-10 West to exit #597, Marion, Tx. Follow the signs to RiverCity Raceway Park. Approximate time and miles are, 3 Hours 22 Minutes and 164.2 Miles. Remember, this is all FREE!!! So don't miss the chance to return to your days of youth (you know when that was) and Stage, Set & GO!! We don't get many chances to return to our days at the Drag Strip! ------------------ |
