SO the Woodward being a "Special Edition" is the all time lowest production NON-standard color combination out there. 153 So the lowest number of cars produced in a year in a STANDARD color is the 2000 RED PROWLER. 193 So the rarest standard colored Prowler is the 2000 Red. Boy I feel better, someone out here in LARRY's Country was trying to tell me it was one of the most popular colors. WRONG ------------------ |

Hey Gary, Are you looking at the same figures I am? 1383 in 1997, and 193 so far for 2000 equals 1576 red cars. That makes it the second MOST produced color. Only 15 less than purple. Red is a Great color but not the least produced "standard" color. Don't take it personal, just the facts. ------------------ |

Sorry Gary, That 1383 cars was 1999 not 1997. My mistake. The totals still the same though. ------------------ |

Wait!!!!! Statistically there are fewer Fridays in a year... so what we need to do is find out how many red and how many silver were built on Fridays... now those would be the super-ultra rare ones... Or how about how many of each were built on February 29.. now those are some seriously rare sons of bitches... he he [This message has been edited by prowlin4fun (edited 07-26-2000).] |

The key words are: "in a year in a standard color." Don't take it personal, just the facts.

OK OK, what ever. The color issue raises its ugly head again. What ever color they are ALL GREAT! Buy the way I think we need to add that green guy to the list of icons we can post. ------------------ |

It isn't just supply, don't forget the more important DEMAND for the particular color. That is what drives the price. If no one wants it, you can't sell it. |

Hey, Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That is why they sell different colors. Also, what makes the price go up, is someone willing to pay the price. You can have the rarest color on the planet, but if no one wants to buy the car, what is it worth? ------------------ |
