OK guys, there must be several questions that would like to be answered.

Let's make a list and see if Carol can get it to engineering and see if they can answer them for us when we tour the plant.

1. Moisture in the headlights

2. Concerns about the use of ceramic front brake pads

3. Oil Pressure (what should it be)

4. Noise in radio when engine running

5. differences in `99~`00 lower control arms

6. erratic gauges, fuel/oil/temp

7. CD skips

8. OVERHEATING west coast cats

9. Floor Mats (available in body color & with hole in drivers side for attachment)

10. What kind of high Performance improvements can be made without voiding warranty (blower/trans gear set/NOS/)

11. Top Leaks when washing or driving in the rain

What do you want to know?

Larry

Wildcat, I have arranged for a DC tech to be at our CAAP tour on Thursday who will be able to answer all of your questions.

I will be posting an itinerary tomorrow to give everyone an idea of what will be going on.

Larry: Your list so far is right on! Might ask what performance upgrades would VOID the warranty?

Wildcat,

Funny you should mention the piece of white plastic. About a week or so back I found the same pieces of plastic. It is from the passenger seat belt assembly. If you look closely at the seat belt, there is a plastic washer that protects the belt from fraying. I am having mine replaced under warranty monday before I leave for Detroit.

FLOOR MATS, FLOOR MATS, FLOOR MATS

Why can't we get some floor mats that have the Red stitching in them? Could they do a limited run of mats so that we could purchase and extra set?

I'm new here. Question: DC has a part number for a floormat with red letters but they don't stock such floormats. My order was placed a few months ago and my dealer can't get the mats. Do they plan to make such floormats anymore? -(for a Woodward)- When can we get them? Thank you for adding this item to your list of questions.

Go figure...I just got a call from my dealer 10 minutes after I posted above. Told me that DC called them and said my order will ship 8/14.

Enthusiast,

Can you get me a Part Number so that I can look into the floor mats. Up until your statement, DC has only been selling floor mats with the Yellow and Silver stitching.

I really want a pair of Red stitching floor mats.

Thanks

Please ask about the seatbelt guides that attach to the headrest. I had to have one replaced and they put a different one from the original on. this one is the same as the vans which not only DO NOT match the original but the seat belt keeps coming out of it and sticking under the head rest. MAJOR safety hazard. I have been to the dealer 4 times about it and called Chrysler's 800# 3 times and am told "that is the part listed for replacement". Yesterday I asked the dealer to notify me when the Zone Rep.comes around next time so I can lodge a complaint with him or her.

Tony, they raised the 2000 almost an inch by changing the suspension and tires and that is why everyone says it rides a little smoother (or a lot smoother) It is noticable when you look at it from the front.

CJ, can you ask the Prowler engineers why they didn't put in a lower transfer gear than a 3:89? Is it ok to put in a deeper 4:96 gear and would there be any negative consequences on the transmission or engine if a 4:96 hardened gear (speedo adjuster included) made by CNC was installed? Thanks.
