Have received approval for the Thursday plant tour. They normally only do them on Fridays, but they are doing us a favor and will accommodate our request. Because of the abnormal day, they weren't sure about having the store open. But have no fear, I think we can change their mind about that also. I have already been contacted by a number of people who want to do this. Now I am asking for anyone else so that I can give them a better number of participants. Come on along! Another thought I had, and I consulted Lord Larry (or was that Larry Lord), about doing the plant tour, cruise to lunch and then a tour of the museum. I also entertained the possibility of getting DC's photographers to take our picture in front of the museum. What does everyone think of these added attractions for Thursday? |

So sorry Laddie.......Lord, I had Lord on the brain. It was Laddie I asked about the additional activities and he thought they would be a good idea. But please, Larry, and anyone else, jump right in and let me know what you think! Sorry, again, Laddies. Sheesh! |

I am in, I really would like to see the store open. A leather jacket to start with. Someone told me is easy to drop a grand, I have one to burn. Please, please, please OPEN THE STORE. Whatever you plan I will certainly follow. Are you talking about the Henry Ford Museum, haven't been there since the 5th grade. I was born in Motown. I wish the days would go by faster. |

CJ, It sounds great to me. You are talking about Walters museum right? Will it be OK for me to bring 2 extra people along? (Father, retired Chrysler & family friend)

CJ, I took a tour on Thursday two weeks ago. There were about 15 people there. The store was open. Are you talking to Sylvia? I am not trying to give you a hard time, I think someone is giving you a line of bull. |

Don't worry, I'm sure the store can be negotiated. It always depends on what's going on that day. Not talking about Henry Ford Museum, talking about the new Walter P. Chrysler Museum located at Chrysler's headquarters (known as CTC). No problem bringing extra people, the more the merrier! I just need to get an accurate count in the next couple of weeks! Come on Larry!! Bob and I were discussing plans for Thursday and maybe Friday. Have some other ideas, but need to check on them before we say anything. Will keep you posted! |

Carol and CJ, Julie and I will be there for the plant tour on Thursday with you. I'm really looking forward to visiting CAAP again. I also am planning on trying to visit the Chrysler Museum and the Henry Ford Museum while in Detroit. Do you have any plans for either one? Please let me know where you want me, at what time, and what I can do to help! |

Thursday will include the plant tour and several other activities that I am in the process of confirming. As soon as I have final plans I will post them. There will be activities involving Thursday and Friday, so look forward to a fun-filled weekend. |
