What name do you guys and girls like? Prowler Club of Americam, World Wide Federation of Prowlers, what is name of the new Group? Association doesn't roll off my lips very well. I like Club. Should we have dues, NO WAY. If a regional or state director has an event why not pass the hat around at their event and everyone chip in 5 bucks, no big deal. If we start collecting money for membership dues or fees that make it so hard and difficult, lets keep it loose. Some one will have to be in charge. I don't like that at all. I really see this new adventure really taking off and being more fun for all. How many people have we lost from the other Board because of clashing personalities, we will never know. This is the best board and the breath of fresh air we all needed. Thanks Mike and Chris. We have already paid dues at our local dealer when we picked up our new or used Prowler. So I think we should go with NO MEMBERSHIP and pay our local director some cash to pay for all the time, money and effort he or she has forked out. There is enough interest out there for it to work this way. I hope this makes sense to you all. ------------------ [This message has been edited by Gary C (edited 07-12-2000).] |

Not sure about what the name should be, however, I agree with helping out the event planner with funds. Should we also be contributing to the web page cost since this effort is being put on by a couple of people (or do I have this wrong)? After all, this is a NON-profit site and group, club, association, or whatever it ends up being called! |

Hi CJ, You are right, this is a FREE site and there are no dues. I am funding this site on my own because of my dedication to the Prowler spirit and the many wonderful friends I have met through the past few years that have come here to share in the experience. My son Chris is the webmaster and has contributed so much in such a short period of time. I would like to express how proud I am of him and all the hard work he has put into the site over the past couple of weeks!!! THANKS AGAIN CHRIS!! As far as funding, that is not all that important. To see such a turnout, enthusiasm and support here is enough to keep me going! Keep on Prowlin' [This message has been edited by Mike Krehel (edited 07-12-2000).] |

Mike, that was a very nice message you put on about your son. Chris has done a grand job and I did not know of the relationship. I can only say this: Between you two guys, you have knocked the ball right out of the park. |

I do think the regional director should get something for each event. Am I correct? Pass the hat around for the stamps, paper and other such things to put on these localized events? |

Good point Gary! I was just speaking on my behalf. I have no problem with the director of the event getting whatever people feel is fair! [Note: This message has been edited by Mike Krehel] |

And for those Prowler fanatics that are into racing ... why not use the name: Amalgamated Association for Racing Prowlers ... no, wait, that would be AARP -- I think that is already taken somewhere ... oops! |
