Now I can't find it, anyone out there that can help?

muzz,
i think you have to call the dealer and ask
them to fax you the proper way, it is the same way as if you had to get your cat towed on flatbed .that is what i remember reading
but not 100% i too need to know i'm taking
mine to woodward on a carhauler and need to
have it tie down!!!

Once it is on the flatbed (need a spacer so the nose does not hit the bed) they will need to use a tire strap on the front and there are holes on the chassis for the rear hook straps.

Thanks Pirana!
Wondering if anyone knows where to get a tire strap? Can't locate one in San Diego (go figure)

Great care must be taken when securing the Prowler. I have a printed copy from PPC, I'll scan and email to you. I purchased the straps at a local speed shop for $9.00 each. They are basically 3' wide nylon straps with a ring at each end. They worked great.

While I'm waiting for the download to finish! sounds like you have secured your Kat to a trailer, when you put on the tire strap where do you locate the floor hooks and what size tire strap did you use?

Anyone that needs assistance in caging their Kat let me know!

Spent the last week looking at enclosed trailers and ended up with a nice 20 ft. Pace American.

The last couple of days have been spent sawing, drilling, and bolting various hardware and straps to keep the Kat calm during the 2600 mile trip. I figure six 5000lb. floor tie downs(through bolted and backing plates) and four 5000lb. straps will do the job!

Few more days and Sixty-five feet of Coach trailer and Prowler are headed East!

WAGONS HO!
