I have the Kodak 265 which replaced my 260 which replaced my 120. I have been very happy with them. I tried the Nikon Coolpix and was very disappointed with it compared to the Kodak.

David,
Dan Pena and I have a Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-F55
and have been very happy. Check out his site and most of the California event picures on the PPC site are from my camara.
Mike C(Zipper) has a Kodak and is also happy.
You might go to GoodGuys or Circuit City and
try out some of the cameras. You will want one with at least 2 million pixels or you will be disappointed.
Good luck, let us know what you end up with.

I just got the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S70 3.3 megpixel. They are good cameras. Mine can record a 'sound bite' (5secs) of audio while your taking the shot, and will also record about a minute of MPEG video. In still shot mode the 64MB memory stick can hold about eight hundred 640x480 jpg's

I have the Kodak DC265 and it is awesome.
The new model of the 265 is the DC290. Check it out bro. The 290 is also $200 less then the 265 was.

I must agree with the Kodak. Owned 2 of them and have been very happy. They make a large line of cameras from the simple to complex. Matter of fact, I bought a DC210 from a friend used about 2 years ago. Sold that to a friend about a year ago and it is still working just like new.
