Hi everyone! I have been on vacation since my last post on the PPC forum. I assure you it was not a hit and run tactic! I have been up at our lake cottage enjoying some quiet time and the 4th of July fireworks! Apparantly I missed the fireworks going on at the PPC! I would like to thank everyone for their support. I applaud the new website and its sincere intentions. It will be a most refreshing experience. As a lot of you have expressed, I also have tired greatly of the politics, backstabbing and personal attacks that I have experienced on the PPC website. As you all know, I have been involved with the Prowler probably longer than any of you. DC is my bread and butter and I am fiercely loyal to them. Prowler is my love. I would never do or say anything to the detriment of either. I have attempted (with all my previous posts) to be as factual and informative as possible without revealing information that is proprietary. I also have been completely honest with regard to the PPC. It is unfortunate that some people feel it necessary to attack others to cover their own insecurities. I have only wanted the Prowler owners to have all the information so that they can make their own decisions. With regard to Johnny Tribble's last post about Carol and me, I can only say that it was all hogwash! Carol has worked hard to make an exciting event for anyone who chooses to attend. She, nor I, have any desire to be "in the limelight". Our only goal was to organize an event that would bring everyone together to have a lot of fun. I never attempted to undermine the PPC plans. We only suggested ways to make the most of all the events that will be going on that week. I spent my 4th of July reflecting on the freedoms that we have and hope that everyone remembers and values those freedoms (particularly freedom of speech and the right of public assembly. We do not have to live under the rules of the PPC to have fun with our Prowlers. I hope everyone that attends the Woodward Dream Cruise and it's corresponding activities has a great time, whatever they choose to do.
